Save the Fish by Stopping Over Fishing

Did you know that bluefin tuna travels at over 70 km per hour?  And unlike humans, they don't know where the boundaries are for the various jurisdictions on the high seas.  Under international law, the high seas, which is 64% of all the world's oceans, are categorised as "the common heritage of mankind".  Which means that it is free for everyone.  And unfortunately, this means free fishing with massive nets and trawlers that haul in more fish than what the ecosystem can replace.  An Economist article, Net Positive, argues for more regulation and reduced free fishing space.  Otherwise, there might not be anything to fish.
