How to Build a Leadership Pipeline with Global Experience

I have had the great fortune of working with employees and customers almost every continent in the world, missing Antarctica for obvious reasons.  Working globally you need to have leadership skills and competencies that allow you to get results everywhere not just your home country.

In a recent article from The Talent Economy, there was a very good list of things to consider to build a global leadership pipeline.  A very good read which includes points such as: -

Dealing with Ambiguity - learning how to not misread the behaviour of other cultures based on their own lens
Meeting Management -how they are managed and run
Decision-Making - how decisions get made and when a decision is really a decision

These and other very useful points to think about with respect to building global leaders and being successful in a global leadership role.
